The sports sector of the Borisov region consists of 168 sports facilities: two stadiums, three swimming pools, 11 mini-pools, 63 gyms, 16 shooting galleries (14 urban and two regional), 32 sportsgrounds (eight urban and 24 regional) and 39 sports facilities.
Borisov best athletes are:

– Aleksei Abalmasov, World K-4 Champion 2007;
– Andrei Aryamnov – World Weightlifting Champion 2007;
– Mikhail Avdeev, the seventh place in the world weightlifting championship 2007.
