For more than nine centuries, the city founded in 1102 by the Prince of Polotsk Boris Vseslavich and named after him – Borisov – has stood on the banks of the Berezina.

Today, Borisov is a large industrial and transport hub of the capital region. More than 40 enterprises operate here, including the only ones of their kind for Belarus and key ones for the CIS.

This is a city with a high level of culture and deep historical traditions. This is a land where heroism and selflessness are honored, and the historical memory of the past of the Belarusian people is preserved with dignity.

The people of Borisov, continuing the glorious traditions of their great-grandfathers, make a worthy contribution to the development of our state with their fruitful work, write new pages of history with their deeds, multiply successes and look to the future with optimism.
