Minsk Region is actively preparing for the 13th Forum of Regions of the two countries, the theme of which this year is “Economic Interaction between Regions – the Foundation for Sustainable Development of Belarus and Russia.” One of the Forum’s sessions will be held at BELGEE.

Today, a delegation from the Executive Office of the Council of the Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, led by First Deputy Chief of Staff Vitaly Semikin, visited the enterprise. Representing the Belarusian side were Natalia Yakubitskaya, Chairperson of Minsk Regional Council of Deputies; Oksana Kazak, Deputy Head of the Department for Support of the Standing Commission on Regional Policy and Local Self-Government of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus; Nikolai Karpovich, Chairperson of Borisov District Executive Committee; and Liliya Checha, Chairperson of the District Council of Deputies.

The head of the company, Gennady Svidersky, introduced the guests to the activities of BELGEE CJSC.

Natalia Yakubitskaya noted that a number of contracts will be signed at the Forum, which will give new impetus to Russian-Belarusian cooperation. The focus will be on import substitution and innovative projects that will be beneficial and beneficial to both parties.

Regarding the BELGEE platform, approximately 150 people are expected to participate in this section. It will address the effectiveness of regional cooperation. A tour of the production facility is also planned. The meeting will culminate in the signing of an agreement between the regions.

As a reminder, the 13th Forum of Regions of the two countries will be held in Minsk City and Minsk Region on June 25 and 26. On the first day, participants will focus on ten sections covering topics ranging from economics, industry, and agriculture to tourism and healthcare. The second day will be devoted to summing up the results.
